Imagine what it's going to be like in a few years when there's a duopoly of theft prevention AI companies and every insurer mandates that shops use that technology. People are going to get instabanned from 50% of the shops in the entire country.

It's going to be particularly bad for people who live in regional areas where there's only one big box store for miles around.

honestly if it gets that bad i fully expect theft to go up and become more violent against people who try to enforce those rules
