Trauma? What even is trauma? Are you making words up again, sweetie?

Post memes here.

Laittakaa meemejä tänne.
Fucking LMAO at the poster of this meme accusing me of faking PTSD. Least abusive She-Ra fan. #1 Shadow Weaver lookalike
Are you the person who comments on every She-Ra post that the show triggers your PTSD?
No.
Then I am confused.
Two of those are links to the same post, and two of them are not examples of me saying the show triggers my PTSD. You asked if I say the show triggers my PTSD on every post.
Okay, that was a very literal way of interpreting it. So you are the person who comments complaints on a lot of posts that reference She-Ra, which includes you bringing up PTSD triggers. Better?
Yes, that's better. When I was abused as a child I survived through self advocacy. Now self advocacy is my trauma response. I've learned to keep my calm and construct reasonable arguments why I shouldn't be attacked, even while I'm panicking on the inside. For example, my reasonable argument why OP shouldn't deliberately post memes in order to trigger me is that that's mean, and my reasonable argument why they shouldn't accuse me of faking trauma is that that's literally what they said is abusive.
Maybe OP posts memes because they think that they're funny/interesting and you aren't actually a consideration? Also, you don't need to append "reasonable" before "argument", I'm sure they're reasonable to you but that doesn't mean that they are to everyone else. Few people use arguments that they themselves believe are unreasonable.
Here's OP saying they post these names to upset me on purpose: https://kbin.social/m/memes@sopuli.xyz/t/272967/-/comment/1242402
That doesn't look like they're being serious. Sort of if a conservative tells you that you offend them when you're considerate to minorities and you tell them that you'll be even more considerate just for that. You're not literally being considerate to spite conservatives but your response more means that you won't stop doing what you're doing because of them.
I don't think jokes about triggering PTSD on purpose are funny. I think those are the kinds of jokes reactionaries make when they find the existence of disabled people offensive.
Didn't they themselves state that they have PTSD? How would they be a reactionary to the existence of people with PTSD?
It's called lateral violence, and it's unfortunately very common. They don't believe I have PTSD because they don't want to believe I have PTSD. If I were genuinely triggered by something they did on purpose, they'd be a total asshole. They don't want to think of themself as a total asshole, so they invented a justification to accuse me of faking trauma. It's such a common thing for abusive people to do that it's what the meme at the top of this thread is about.
Maybe it was a mistake to invite all the redditors over here.
Fucking hell @PugJesus already has 1025 posts (not comments).
XD Uploading the 'best of' folders I've put stuff in the past few years. I didn't think I'd ever have a use for them, so getting use uploading 'em to Lemmy is my way to justify future file-hoarding.
As a lurk, I depend on people like you to keep the content stream alive. God speed and ignore the haters.
Word
@Pugjesus has been very productive. Maybe not all of their memes are winners, but they've been providing the meme pages here with a steady flow of content. They're not the kind of redditor I'm griping about.
N-no, please... don't tell me the 2020 plague memes aren't as dank as they used to be!
Sorry I had to be the one to break it to ya.
