well, did you know that lamotrigine, an anti-epileptic and bipolar medication, works by inhibiting voltage dependant sodium channels (and a few other channels/receptors), thus inhibiting the ability of neurons to fire rapidly and uncontrollably? i didnt until two weeks ago in middle of the night, and it was really important information!
