Light Phone 3 (www.thelightphone.com)

So, I preordered the Light Phone 3? I considered the 2 for a while but it is just to clunky with its eink screen, texting would be a nightmare.

What are y'all's thoughts on the new design? Do you think minimalist phones are worth it?

$400 ?! Way, what, no, base price $800 ?!?! Interesting niche product, but come on...

800 is a hard pill to swallow. They said that price will likely come down. I don't feel like 400 is too much for a phone.

$400 is too much for a Light Phone. The whole purpose of is to be minimalistic...

I'm cool with that price considering the thoughtful design and projected longevity of the phone. I'm not trying to convince you buy this. It is niche and meets what I am looking for and the price is fair to me.

It's an interesting product. I would be interested to read your comments about it in the future.
