my mom's friend was coping pretty hard

her husband was going "poor joe, he means well but he's gotten so old, he was so much better at the state of the union :(" and she starts raising her voice at him, "his voice is just coarse and he has a stutter! he's not perfect but everything he's saying is the TRUTH, you just aren't LISTENING to him!!"
