The President of the United States would be liable to be impeached, tried, and, upon conviction of treason, bribery, or other high crimes or misdemeanors, removed from office; and would afterwards be liable to prosecution and punishment in the ordinary course of law. Fucking infuriating that the SCOTUS can openly and blatantly make shit up that serves the purposes of the GOP and that there is no recourse. US voters now have to also consider that whoever they put in office as president has the power to do whatever they want with impunity.
