Jack Dorsey made it, and it's kind of federated. Might even hook into Mastodon in the future.

I feel Bluesky already lost its hype. Should've been launched near the announcement. I believe Threads it's where people would go if leaving X.

It seems to be growing pretty fast, and importantly has celebrities and such. It's going to replace Twitter, but Mastodon has staying power that BSky doesn't.
