I mean they probably have repellant views but this doesn’t scream neo nazi to me. The Iron Cross, while carrying some connotations, plenty of Normies just don’t recognize those and just think it’s a cool bad ass cross. Maybe I’m just missing something but that’s my read

Isn’t it still used by the German army? Not that Germans are paragons of anti-nazism, but it seems to just represent “Germany” as it was used before WWII

That’s literally any Western European army. The average person does either simply not know or not care because they ascribe it to some “distant past”.
