I might be wrong on this, but it seems people don't search the internet like people used to back in the older days. Now it seems everyone has been taught to be lazy and accept whatever their algorithm of choice feeds them. Idk, maybe im wrong, just a gut feeling.
You got that right. What you mentioned here is one of the reasons why we’re in this shitty timeline in the first place. Critical thinking and confirming of facts are no longer done.
Nah, people search the internet just as much, but now it's far easier to find something to support your opinion no matter how far from the truth your opinion is. Its not about fact or fiction, it's about somebody reinforcing what you think by repeating it. The scale of satisfaction has tipped from "learning something new" to "being right", and its far easier to tell somebody that they're right than to teach them something.
