The fake electors and their financiers and lawyers are the root of the problem, the dumbasses they got to bumrush the capitol were just disposable shock troops (who also definitely deserve their jail cells, but that's just treating symptoms instead of the disease)
The Brooks Brothers Rioters were fundamental to Bush Jr's win. And quite a few of them went on to infest future administrations.
Roger Stone continued to ratfvck for the party for the next quarter century. Rory Cooper continues to work as a ranking political strategist for the RNC. Matt Schlapp even became Trump's Political Director.
I guarantee you that they all had their hands in the fake elector scandal to some degree.
