This was always the case. If it was purely on merit basis, tsunoda would be in that car already. This is assuming they want promote from within because there are better options outside the red Bull family
And within, Sainz is still available and is an RDA driver
Sure but Carlos Sr and Jos still hate each other's guts.
Hmm this is true. Though I don't think they see him as a RB driver academy driver now and see him more like an outside option
