I thought the recent side scrolling Prince of Persia game was great, and to be honest I thought Assassin's Creed Odyssey was well done. I liked the more ambiguous unmasking the order approach it took. (and the Greek sea shanties)
Very poorly optimised at least at first.
I didn't play it until 2020. Probably the worst release I've ever played was Pathfinder: Kingmaker
Yeah that was bad, but from the games i played nothing come even close to Sword of the Stars 2, after 9/10 first game is was like kick in the nuts.
Odyssey was very good indeed.
Odyssey is extremely annoying for me. The quest system is the more annoying.
Talk to NPC: 2 possibles questions -> 1 - Tell something irrelevant that I don't care, 2 - Tell the area of the objective -> Go there send the "hawk" -> Watchdog 2 drone skin hawk search the area to find the objective -> complete the objective.
The earlier Ubisoft questline of talking to the NPC -> go to the pinpoint on your map -> complete was less annoying than the extra unnecessary steps of Odyssey.
