I went on the trail again and wanted to share

All things green, outdoors, and nature-y. Whether it's animals in their natural habitat, hiking trails and mountains, or planting a little garden for yourself (and everything in between), you can talk about it here.
See also our Environment community, which is focused on weather, climate, climate change, and stuff like that.
(It's not mandatory, but we also encourage providing a description of your image(s) for accessibility purposes! See here for a more detailed explanation and advice on how best to do this.)

I don't know where you are, but that screams "alligators" to me. Are you in Alaska? I'd worry about Northern Alaskan Alligators. Just because nobody has found one yet, doesn't mean they don't exist.
No. There's just a dammed river nearby and it just rained yesterday. I was on the fence about going, due to the mud, but it wasn't that bad.
I also saw three deer cross the path a quarter way up the trail, which was nice.
Dude, I think that's definitely Spanish Moss in the trees there.
Definitely alligators. Nope.
