So that's the issue right there, liberal can be used for both sides of the political spectrum
No it can't. It refers to centrists. If you're a Nazi, it refers to people left of you. If you're an anarchist, it refers to people right of you. It's the same group.
Yeah but unfortunately this person is probably using the Americanized version of liberal.
