I remember as a kid/teen the "debate" (there was no debate, it was some Nazi fuckle sticks on "one side" and people who aren't fuckles on the other) over using stem cells from fetuses. Like people were openly discussing if we should be able to do science and purely ethical science too. Not experimenting on living people or their corpses. Not "forcing abortions" or whatever insanity right wingers have been saying for 50 years just to harvest the cells. When I really consider what was being "discussed" when I was teen, it makes me even more pissed off that people think I and anyone else that age were supposed to grow up and just accept this dogshit.
