Could I get a ELI5 on what a thorium nuclear reactor is and why it's important, etc?
Aren’t there two kinds of thorium reactors, one that can create nuclear material as a by product, the reason why India despite having the world’s highest reserves of thorium and overwhelming energy demand, is stupidly dragging its feat trying to create the more expensive reactors that do produce nuclear by products?
