Well this blade is now testing my technique and pressure management. I managed a DFS with no irritation, but the blade is definitely past its prime.
Just when I think the boar stank is subsiding, it comes back with a vengeance. Are there trapped pockets of stench hiding in this knot? What is going on?
The line up today was pleasant. Trouble Maker and Fougère Gothique are both earthy, smokey, and excellent.

Weekly Tub Check: 176g (∆ -8)
Wait, only 8 grams over the course of 7 shaves?
Does that seem low? I do a 20-30 second load and I get enough lather for at least 2 passes. Even at that it still takes a couple minutes to dial in properly.
My average so far is 3 grams. I used less today, 1.6, and had enough for 3+ passes with a synthetic, but the lather quality was a tad under what I prefer. I'm a self-proclaimed hate-loader, and always preach "use more soap", so that's where my surprise comes from!
