That's a smash up of two comments I've made on Lemmy, basically. SwiftKey must have app based prediction or something. I said this two things exactly once.
Since my understanding of what llms do is exactly predictive text, why is predictive text still so shit
Keyboards only look at the last one or two words. LLMs look at a lot more than that. Comes down to available processing power really.
