Idk if this is creepy. There is nothing mysterious to it, its just a horrible act of terrorism that mostly affected civilians with some militants caught in the spray.
There's way too many Hezbollah & Hamas sympathizers on here.
I'm really sorry, but I'm not sympathising with anyone, but this method of attack is straight up terrorism, and you'd be agreeing if it had been perpetrated by al queda, Hezbollah or Hamas, and was a Pandora's box of future terrorism that the western world will now have to live with.
Acknowledging that some actions are terrible and unacceptable even when they are being done by 'our own side' is a decent society is able to do.
Yeah, because they target innocent civilians. Maybe understand the difference in targets. You people are literal terrorist simps.
But it will be done by those groups now. Because Israel opened this tactic up.
If terrorists wanted to do this, while having the capabilities to do so, they would have done so already. This is probably the dumbest argument made in this entire thread so far, congrats.
Come back to me when it happens.
You and Oliver Cromwell would've gotten along well.
Found the idiot that likes conflating an entire people with its most extreme groups.
Ad hominem. And no, I don't conflate anything here.
You not so indirectly called me a hezbollah/hamas sympathizer. You dont get to cry ad hominem.
Yeah, because you're a terrorist simp who spreads terrorist propaganda.
I assume you are just trolling but could you point out which part of what i wrote is "propaganda"?
Or are you one of those "alternative facts" people?

Literally "alternative facts".
Well no, its actual fact (as far as currently publicly known). These were not magical devices that only exploded if a terrorist held them. These were devices in the hands of everyone because they were sold and distributed to everyone and they exploded in crowded cities, in stores, wherever they were at the time. We already know for a fact that multiple innocents were killed and just by understanding how an explosive works, we know that even if the devices were held by militants, there would always be more collateral than targeted damage when they explode in the middle of a city. This is simply how the IDF operates, the moral judgement for that you can make yourself.
As a side note, according to the NYT the shell company that made these bombs for israel also sold them to lots of other people. Ofcourse they claim that those ones didnt contain any explosives but we just kind of have to believe that.
If you seriously think that the thousands of wounded are all innocent people then you have not paid any attention to how this whole thing unfolded. They didn't just blindly sabotage pagers that were sold in stores. Pagers were specifically used by Hezbollah, and Israel caught wind of them ordering replacements, which they managed to intercept. They weren't pagers distributed to "everyone", like among innocent civilians that are unrelated to the group.
"Multiple" - out of the thousands of exploded pagers the casualty rate itself is fairly low since you can only pack so much explosives into a small device like a pager. The majority of "casualties" are severely wounded Hezbollah operatives. You can see in videos that civilians who stand next to the explosives often did not even get wounded because the explosion is so small. That's why the death rate is actually this low, despite the many hits.
This wasn't done by the IDF. Really shows your competency on this field and how much we should value your input on those matters.
Until those also explode we probably can - but you wouldn't believe it anyway because "Israel bad". That's your whole agenda.
Ok, because to care for civilians we have to support terrorists ignoring the fact that bombing people with pagers is quite literally terrorism.
Oh give me a break. You only care because it was Israel who did it. Where were you complaining about Hezbollah attacking civilians?
What are you basing that on aside from your fragile fragile feelings.
I have before, check the profile dipshit.
Fragile feelings? lmao
You're acting on your feelings about me alone, uninformed ones at that and you're clearly quite fragile, so yes fragile feelings.
Narcissistic much? I give 0 fucks about you. But keep telling yourself whatever you want to believe about me, just like you do about what happens in that region.
Then why the fuck you try to tell me my position when you can even be bothered to find out yourself.
Get fucked troll.
He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster. And if you gaze for long into an abyss, the abyss gazes also into you.
Imagine this tattooed around a butthole, in a spiral fashion
The kids that died from that shit were Hamas/Hezbollah
Yes, they hit literally thousands of kids with pagers.
Well they killed two of them, that's two too many. If you want to assassinate someone, make sure you kill the target and not innocents.
Sure, but two out of 2762? Big whoop. That's a minuscule collateral as far as war goes, much less than what would be the result of air strikes like in Gaza.
It was two out of twelve deaths, and 276 wounded. And that's not an act of war, Israel is not at war with Lebanon. That's just state sponsored terrorism.
And they accuse me of conflating Lebanon with Hezbollah... lol
The explosions happened in Lebanon and Syria, both of which are sovereign states and not at war with Israel.
If that boy could read he'd be real offended.
Which both host terrorist groups that frequently attack Israel.
It's almost like that situation has two garbage groups of people killing each other, with even more twisted horrible means every time, harming innocent people in the process, and people like you thinking it's fine because "they started it".
No, I think a country has the right to defend itself against terrorists and fight back when attacked. Lebanon and Syria have 0 reason to complain about this when they do fuck all about those people inside of their borders. Hell, Lebanon is the country from which rockets are launched into Israel. Israel could very much see this as an act of war from Lebanon, since they're not doing anything against it - which means they're either too incompetent or complicit. Do you expect Israel to just sit there and take it? Watch while their people get killed? Hezbollah members are military targets, regardless if they're direct combatants or working some other way for the group.
Well, maybe if the Israeli government stopped being an imperialistic genocidal expansionist supremacist racist bunch of jackasses, being allowed to act with impunity, maybe the genocidal antisemitic terrorist groups around them would also accept to de-escalate too.
Lebanon is in complete disarray after the explosion, they probably have other things to think about currently.
Syria has been fighting a civil war for the past 15 years, so probably the same.
Israel is being funded and armed by the US and the EU to bomb Gaza, genocide Palestinian and colonize what's left of their lands. Hezbollah personnel might be valid military targets but not their kids and not other innocent people that happen to be around them.
lol Yeah buddy, the people who want the literal death of the Israeli state have definitely shown their willingness to not be terrorists anymore.
They had plenty of time before that. Or do you think Hezbollah attacking Israel is a new development?
Yes, and now remember what the Syrian government did before all that.
Again, that's collateral, not intended targets. It's impossible to avoid the death of innocent people in a war.
If it's your kid you'd care.
If it was Israeli kids you wouldn't care.
I would mostly because Israelis don't support the war, Zionists do which are the minority in the country, not the majority.
But thanks for trying!
Uh-huh.
Takes thirty seconds to look, don't take my word on it.
