U.S. version of the venerable British news/comedy show, #HIGNFY.

Not really. All I can say is you'd have to watch the British show.

I haven't watched the American version yet, but Roy Wood, Jr. is a good choice for host.

What's going to be interesting is if they will be able to get the politicians and pundits at the level of the British version, i.e. almost the top.

Edit: Okay, I am watching it now. A few things: it's very close to the British version, and I didn't place Amber Ruffin's name. They do have a former congressperson on too. She's one of Seth Meyers' writers and she's really funny. That said, overall the satire is not as biting as the UK version. Michael Ian Black and Amber Ruffin are just not as ready to go for the jugular as Ian Hislop and Paul Merton. Not really shocking there considering Ian Hislop is absolutely willing to criticize anyone to their face and neither he or Paul Merton give two shits about what anyone thinks about them.

8. Misinformation is prohibited.


Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.


9. No link shorteners.


The auto mod will contact you if a link shortener is detected, please delete your post if they are right.


10. Don't copy entire article in your post body
