Yeah, them being angry that a Cadian woman is calling shots shows how they don't know the lore.
Cadia literally has child soldiers. Like they teach their kids how to use a gun before they teach them to read. In the event of a demonic invasion, Cadians expect toddlers to man the front lines. Fact: adult women are stronger than a five-year-old boy.
What's the phrase?: "A Cadian that can't field strip a gun by 4 was born on the wrong planet."

Still has, they just gathered the remanants and get new planet, but did not changed their ways. Whiteshields are still getting trained and still thrown into grinder at 15-16 year old. Maybe even younger now because the supply of recruits is short.
