MODERATORS
Both Unruffled and dbzer0 are admins, I think both got banned but the instance remained federated because the problem wasn't with the users.

Ditto. I hate inter-comm fighting, personally. This place won't survive if we have tons of servers isolated from each other. Hex is a nice little community because of those choices though so 🤷
Hex is very self-sufficient and has healthy overlap with grad, so not being entangled with .world isn't a bad thing for HB. It isn't dying out anytime soon
