Batman wears kevlar, carbon composites, and lightweight polymers these days. You're thinking of Ghost Rider in his leather pants and jacket.
He needs to switch to aramid fiber lined jeans because getting those pants off after a sweaty night of crime fighting and riding a motorcycle in the heat is a damn chore. Or so I've heard.
Just because you're a supernatural personification of pain and punishment and Nicolas Cage doesn't mean you have to neglect your skin. Treat yourself.
