"a girl there a little younger than me". May I ask roughly your age at the time? I must confess I associate strokes with the elderly or people well into their middle age already. Is it also common among children?
Lots of adults call women girls for some weird reason.
Lots of adults call men boys too, and it’s not weird. In fact there’s a whole TV about it
