I'd say they aren't sending their best, but the sad thing is that they are.

Wasn't Trump the guy who fired Bolton? Didn't he fire Bolton for being a warhawk?

Literally yes, in 2019 i think when entire USA pushed for the war with Iran, then they backed off in last moment, but Bolton didn't get the memo and was sacked for poor reflex in being a warhawk. Funniest thing came later when he wrote a very salty book in which he accused Trump of multiple instances of being unamerican like stopping from attacking Iran, knowing on map where China is, having a common sense to not blindly attack it though entire Pacific, cooling out some Holdens rep senators and such
