Its called LGBT or LGBT+
A acronym isn't working when it gets longer every Tuesday.
This one has already stuck for a while, and it works. It is quite inclusive, whereas LGBT was less so. It would go against the principle of an inclusive acronym for "+" to stand in for many not explicitly recognized groups.
I note you're not a .ca user. Idk if you're Canadian or not, or it this is what's driving your comment, but 2S refers to an Indigenous identity of Two-Spirited. It's a local variation of the acronym, reflecting local culture. If you're not in Canada/US/Turtle Island, it's unlikely you'll see 2S in your local version
I think whoever uses it is a bigot making fun of the LGBT+ community.
Putting 2S at the front is part of Truth and Reconciliation, recognizing the intersectionality of being Indigenous and two-spirit and the importance of including Indigenous Knowledge across all systems of power.
With all due respect, decrying their inclusion is racist and continues the perpetuation of colonialist systems of oppression.
I say this coming from a position of immense privilege, as a white, cis male from fairly wealthy and educated non-immigrant parents.
Yeah its obvious because the people all this BS is about don't give a single fuck because they have problems besides Virtue signalling. You make fun of minorities.
