in all these different categories of pin-up drawings the girls are always so hot but I've never liked how the faces are drawn.
are the eyes being 5 times larger than in reality all the better to bat their eyelashes? I understand its of a certain style, Im just asking what it is about the style thats thought of as good.
also, why is her mouth a centimeter wide in total? is the idea so she can't speak?
No, the idea is not "that she can't speak", wherever you may have gotten that from.
But yes, her mouth is ridiculously small indeed! I am fairly certain that these overdrawn features are supposed to look cuter in this style, which kind of works if you don't pay too much mind.
