Yah, I expect to see more of this TBH.
Trump built a broad coalition of alienated elements to push him over the finish line and now that he’s across it, it hardly helps him to stick his neck out to support them.
Then there is congress beyond that. The senate and house may have a majority of republicans, but they have elections they need to win in 2 to 4 years, and many of them don’t really care about the people in the coalition trump has built. They only need to support those elements that will be important to them winning future elections.
