Is it not possible to vote early? An American I talk to told me they voted early...
You can vote at physical locations during early voting
Some places do. I did it in the city election here after my mail-in ballot got damaged; went over to the local college which opens a few days early for this purpose.
You can vote in person before the election. In Texas early voting ended Nov 1. I’m not answering to whether this is BS or not, just that you can vote in person in Nov 1 in some places.
