Does anyone have experience of this, and more importantly, is it any good?

Thanks

From the same article:

'The UK could see a return of 30C heat just in time for the coming bank holiday Monday - as what is expected to be among the hottest summers on record continues.

And

Weather over the weekend will be largely dry and cloudy, with temperatures expected to peak at 24C on Sunday.'

Make your sodding mind up!

Making America great again?

Just highlights the point that these people get paid in a month what one of the overentitled twats will pay for a pair of jeans or a TACO golf shirt.

Small bird rescue (beehaw.org)
submitted 5 months ago by baggins@beehaw.org to c/casualuk@feddit.uk

So yesterday I rescued a young Robin that caught its leg in our garden feeder. All OK.

Yesterday evening I went to the kitchen to start dinner and there was a sparrow flapping about by the kitchen window. The kitchen door next to window was wide open, but our cat Daisy was prowling round so that probably stopped the sparrow from flying out. Managed to get hold of it and it too was uninjured. Off that went as well.

Don’t think Daisy had caught it as she is too slow. So much that that she either ignores the birds (apart from making funny noises at pigeons and magpies), or they stay out of her reach.

Wonder what animal rescue I have today.

Ryanair once again proving they are scumbags.

Very thought provoking.

Overdue - more national media needs to take this step.

The US presidential election campaign served only to underline what we have considered for a long time: that X is a toxic media platform and that its owner, Elon Musk, has been able to use its influence to shape political discourse.

It's not like they weren't warned though.

The Expanse (beehaw.org)

Rewatching The Expanse for the nth time. It always cracks me up to see Bobby Draper stuffing those cucumber sandwiches into her face. Do you want some?

It's almost like he's given up.

Personally I think they are both too old but the Dems should have put up somebody with a bit of fire in them. Really shown that they are serious.

Am from UK but taking a close interest here as it's not just the US this will affect. It has repercussions around the world. The slimy git Farage got in here because of his trumpist views, and has emboldened him and his followers.

Probably not what you're expecting - but the fact that the once iconic 'British' car is now made in China.

I spent many hours under the hood of my MGB GT :-(

I never thought they couldn't. Glass phones were an absolutely ridiculous idea.

This. No amount of excuses or lengthy explanations. It's childish and unprofessional.

Thing is, if it's non toxic, then it's possibly safe. Maybe not pleasant, but not poisonous. Just as bad as pineapple on pizza.

Wonder how long it'll be before we get suggestions about eating detergent capsules or drinking bleach to cure covid.

Training your AI on Reddit was never a good idea though, you just have to look at all the crap on there to realise that. Let's just hope they didn't use Facebook as well, or worse, Quora!

This should come as no surprise. The UK's MOD did similar, albeit on a smaller scale, for training troops for deployment in Northern Ireland, and Germany/Europe.

I think we all know China is gearing up to attack Taiwan as they make no secret that, as far as they are concerned, it belongs to them. The fact that the Taiwanese don't agree is neither here nor there.

Same with Russia.

Am trying to make a dark rye loaf like you'd find on a stall or in a shop. Not the really dense 'pumpernickel' style but round or oblong tin shaped.

Have tried various percentages of strong dark rye, muscovado sugar and black treacle but the loaf is still not that dark. I did try some cocoa in one loaf but that just gave an odd colour.

Am using a Panasonic bread machine and in over 5 years it's only ever produced a couple of duff loaves - which were down to me (forgetting yeast, mixer blade or water) and often use it for the dough function and then finish in oven. Am not averse to resorting to full manual though if needed.

Any ideas?

TIA

She loves these throws. And as long as I keep my ankles crossed and legs still, she'll stay.

Must admit I choked up a bit as our last two would never do this.

Holy crap, that's depressing.

And whitey wonders why the locals have got the arseache.

Hasn't this always been the case?

Israel has not been a shining example of virtue over the years. I'm not excusing the disgusting actions by the other side, where they are proved true, as some of the pictures have already been discounted, but this would only make Israel come down harder.

I don't the have an answer, but what ever us happening now is certainly not it.

You only have to look and see where his money and family interests are. Anyone who's surprised at this point, hasn't being paying attention.
