Can you say government full of children masquerading as adults? I swear the right see the most mild thing and immediately turn into crying babies (which is an insult to babies everywhere, so I apologize to the real babies).

If you are a fan of pokemon and want actually challenging games with stories that vary in quality, fan games and ROM hacks are your go-to.

My personal recommendations right now are Pokemon Vanguard and Unbreakable Ties, both phenomenal fan games despite not even being completed yet. You'll get well over something like 20-30 hours alone with Unbreakable Ties and it's just in its 4th beta. Both feel like passion projects in the best way possible and Unbreakable Ties is looking to be a master craft in the art department as well (minus a few fullscreen art scenes that pop up).

At most, you'll have to join a discord server, as annoying as it is, if you want more up to date info on the game and download links.

Does mostly just kinda essay like videos going over cartoon episodes (or even whole characters in the case of Hey Arnold!). Seemingly just nickelodeon right now, though there are others like a CtCD video.

Don't feel as out of place sharing a 159k sub channel when OP brings up a nearly 450k channel.

Also, this post motivated me to look through my subs and found a couple I unsubbed to and found some shocking things like some channels last videos were more recent than I thought. Also keeping myself away from going on a nostalgia trip of over a decade ago.

I wish. Too much work for them, especially since we don't have as much engagement and posting on specific subr•ddit equivalents, if they even exist at all, compared to the originals. And I sure as Hell ain't confident enough to start being one of those people who do a million posts a day to drive engagement.

Imagine being the bootlickers who wrote that malicious code. Rest in piss, all of y'all.

Depends on what it is. Currently, on my laptop, I have music organized by group followed by album if I have ripped a CD for backup in case my CD stops working. Got a lot of blanks, just in case, for free.

Downloads isn't organized. Pictures are slightly organized, with images for background in a folder and a few other folders. Most everything in documents is in a folder inside the documents folder or a subfolder in the subfolders.

Desktop has folder has mostly the important things in it, like folder for appimages, emulators, other programs and related files that require their own folder, and a few miscellaneous files. Organization is something I have prioritized a lot more on my laptop to ensure I don't end up having a situation like with my desktop where it's a shitshow.

As for phone, I'm doing a lot better with organization because I set up a new phone I got maybe a month or less ago and have been doing good to organize. Just need to go into my SD card and fix some things up that haven't been organized for a long time, since my 2nd smartphone, back from ~2015-16. Mostly just music. Got over 500 audio files stored on an SD card, so you can imagine how insane it is to try and organize, especially if you feel daunted by that task like me.

Give him a few months and there won't be a climate crisis at his house because he won't have a house. Just ashes. Wishful thinking, but you never know.

Would absolutely love to see mod makers turn either 3 or NV into a fo1/2 experience because we're clearly never gonna see remasters of the original at this point.

Probably the best we'd get for story DLCs would be for FO4 or 76 because there's absolutely no way they'd create new content for a game over a decade old that isn't Skyrim or the latest entry in another series of theirs that is either fallout or fallout or fallout.

Item was $4.50 for a used CD and checkout surprised me with this incredible deal! How could I say no to adding $99.99 on to the total?!?! /s

Mostly asking because I've never used these before due to never needing to. That, and I have a few old disc based PC games that I'd love to be able to straight up boot without the game disc. These are games I could just pirate, but I figure I already own them in disc, so I'd rather see if there are any reputable places with no-disc patches. The places I've looked in the megathread don't have what I'm looking for.

Closest they have is either a link to the game on another platform in the case of My Abandonware due to it being sold, or a link to just straight up pirate the full thing in the case of Magipack Games. I've also done some digging on the Internet Archive but have yet to yield results (probably because I suck at finding things there). Still gonna keep looking there, but any helpful info would be much appreciated.

I don't think I can share the game names, even in DM, due to the rules here, so site mainpages are my best shot.

You can see the logos getting worse, in my opinion. I absolutely hate the trend of oversimplifying logos.

Absolutely fucked up that games with legal gambling (loot boxes) can be rated E, but the second an indie dev makes a game that has cards in it and a poker scoring system, they suddenly act like rabid dogs.

If you ask me, it's best to treat any program requiring kernel level access that isn't part of your base operating system or something you created and have full control over as malware. All it takes is one exploit or something of similar nature and some bad actors taking advantage of it before it can be patched for your computer to become fucked.

I've never ripped CDs or DVDs before for any reason and am curious how this works since I have some stuff I wanna see about backing up but am nervous about ruining the disc. I've tried looking this up, but every time I do, I obviously am searching for the wrong thing because I have never found the info I'm looking for.

Linux noob. Just got a pair of Skull Candy Push Active XT bluetooth earbuds. They pair just fine with my setup but no sound comes through them. I found many different posts on various forums and nothing helped.

Using the inxi command I pulled some info I think might help, if it's needed. (I don't know if any of this is needed to help fix this issue. I've only been using MX for a little over a week and have never really done a lot of under the hood Linux maintenance before, but am more than willing to learn to fix this issue). If there is sny other information needed, I'm willing to edit this with any of that information, if I can find it.

Got a copy of Borderlands (EU iso) from the r/ROMS megathread and found out there is securom verification (which I have absolutely no experience with) as part of the installation process.

Closest I have found to a solution to bypass so far after some brief searching was one "Generic Securom 7/8 by Virusek" off of the "LOSTFILESARCHIVE" github page, which leads to a 404 page (even on the wayback machine).

Are there any programs or patches you would recommend to bypass this god awful drm?
