If you actually use Linux then I would appreciate an answer to the following question: Can I transfer a (pirated) PC game on my phone to Linux via either localsend or FTP Server? And how difficult is it to do?

How about future games like GTA 6 for instance? Are you willing to play temporary non-foss games with no immediate replayability and uninstall them afterwards? Just curious.

Yeah tbh I don't actually use adobe products at all. I only want windows and games so that's why I asked this question in the first place, piracy also included of course.

What about games? Do you only play Foss?

[-] darkguyman@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 6 days ago

To clarify, I use FMHY as my piracy wiki. Also, does disabling my internet also prevent connection of pirated software or no?

Video games are an exception though, right? FOSS games exist but they're not as good as indie games or good AAA games, the developers aren't too dedicated because there is no direct benefit. Don't get me wrong, almost all FOSS games are great but I don't think they're overwhelming the former any time soon. I also want to talk about operating systems and this is where most people will disagree with me but I believe that a pirated enterprise windows edition (from masgrave) is better than linux gaming-wise. I pirate games and playing pirated games on Linux is a bit harder than playing them normally IMO. This is the main reason I prefer using windows, once again PIRATED LSTC WINDOWS. Privacywise, you can also remove a lot of telemetry on LSTC too.

Pirated and OS software are different things, obviously. But would you prefer one over the other? I'm thinking of switching to both OS software AND pirated software. Just want opinions and tips from this community.

The UI seems overwhelming to a noob like me. How do I make it so that the screen doesn't turn off when a certain app is open with a battery limit?

Late reply but is there any FOSS alternative to Macrodroid/Tasker? As far as I'm aware, there really isn't.

Is there no general simple guide? I mean the above ones are definitely all-rounders. Not perfect but sort of a peek at privacy.

Any good privacy guides? (lemmy.dbzer0.com)

I've checked out PrivacyGuides itself, the new oil and SSD. These all seem a bit too advanced/complex to me, I want something simple and secure, preferably open-source too. Any help would be appreciated.

Any good mobile games? (lemmy.dbzer0.com)

I would really love to kill some time on my phone. The games I have tried include: Slay the spire, shattered pixel dungeon, unciv, dead cells. Other than that, are there any solid phone games or otherwise ports, paid or not?

Can't argue with that.

I've seen a lot of people on the community say that brave is bad and has made quite a lot of questionable decisions. But Firefox itself also has made equally bad decisions. Mozilla has faced ongoing criticism regarding their default settings, their approach toward users, the high compensation of their CEO at over $3 million USD annually, and their investments in various companies that may not align directly with their core mission. Additionally, there have been instances where Firefox has implemented a temporary, one-time tracker that transmits certain data to Google during the initial installation on Windows or Mac systems. Brave has also undoubtedly made such decisions as well but the point here is that Both Firefox AND Brave have made questionable decisions and to specifically dunk on brave just because it's chromium is unfair in my opinion. That's all, thanks for reading my post :)
