Why are they shut down?

I think I read somewhere a while ago that Docker is only really "native" on Linux, because on Mac and Windows it spawns some internal virtual machine or something like that. Not sure if i remember it correctly but that would probably be a reason for worse performance i guess.

I also can't understand lobbying. To me, a non-US person, it just seems like legalized corruption.

I have been having this problem 2 days ago, but I have started using NoScript in combination with UBlock Origin yesterday and i didn't see any ads after that.

I really like using code.whatever.social as an alternative frontend to Stack Overflow. It has way less distractions and allows me to only look at the question and the answers and nothing else.

I am trying to lower my use of Reddit and increase my use of Lemmy.

One thing I would really like to be accepted (since its already in the proposals on Github) is to have multiple communities that have same topic somehow be joined and their news aggregated together.
