AFAIK HDDs are super resilient as long as you store them properly, I have HDDs from the 90's and they're still working, of course the technology advances and they have very slow speed and storage but they work. They're basically a disc inside a metal shell that contains them so if they don't suffer damage or get overused they should be fine.

I rather not "vote with my wallet" and have a government that is able to do something. Furthermore, for a lot of people football is not just a game, but one of the few ways colonized people can prove themselves against colonizers, you cannot ask people from the Global South not to go because whatever, I want to see Ewwropeans moan and cry in the field. A much better thing would be going to the match and support Palestine so that it is visible, as many clubs have done in a lot of countries.
Of course this isn't news, neither for the Europeans, much less for the Global South, but seeing the rupture between the imperial core and its vassal States has a meaning, which I hope Westerners would be able to understand and veer things towards a new end, not fascism in Europe rising again.
