Well, that's kind of the thing, except for a few things I don't want to customize it that much, when I've tried KDE in the past I just customized it a bit and it looked like shit because I didn't spend that much time into it. I know you can make it look pretty, but I'd rather waste that time learning how to use Hyperland to be honest since it's way more customizable and offers something else completely. Except for a better KDE Connect integration I don't think I'm missing anything I would need on Gnome.

Convince me the US isn't a third world country.

Am I the only one who thinks it looks ugly? Don't get me wrong, they are improving it in many ways and it's going in the right direction, plus a ton of features and customizability, but when I look at Gnome I don't doubt for a second where I want to be.

Zelensky is going to need political asylum or the people of Ukraine will stone him to death and hang his corpse after what he's done to the country, maybe we're seeing the birth of another Guaido.

Basically one day all of a sudden I lost all mobile network, can't receive SMS, calls, etc, can't use mobile data, nothing.

I own a Xiaomi Redmi 12 OS version 1.0.7.0.UMXMIXM Android version 14 UP1A.231005.007

I've tried going into the setting mobile network and disabling automatic connection and trying to connect manually but it doesn't let me connect

There's a nice little project called Lemmy, have you heard about it?

[-] gary_host_laptop@lemmy.ml 25 points 2 years ago

Yes, as there are plenty of other developers who are openly liberals or some other flavour of capitalism. You don't need to agree with the developers political choices all the time to use their software.

[-] gary_host_laptop@lemmy.ml 24 points 2 years ago

That is not true, he has said multiple times it was used because it was free.

[-] gary_host_laptop@lemmy.ml 40 points 2 years ago

The rumor is fake, the devs have said it multiple times. If they would have wanted to do some funny Marxism meme they would have used .su

[-] gary_host_laptop@lemmy.ml 28 points 2 years ago

No, stop spreading this nonsense, it was never chosen because of that. It was used because it was free and the developers don't care about creating funny names with the DNS or for glorified expensive DNS.

What is exactly being measured here? Someone care to elaborate what kind of things they kept into account?

Because spam.
