Its like torrenting except you download from a sever directly instead of a bunch of peers, there is no seeding and its always the fastest speed your connection allows.

Also some other stuff unrelated to piracy that will provably just make it sound more confusing then it really is.

Most pirates in 2025 would be using private trackers or usenet and i doubt either are included in the stats this company gathers.

Its probably correct to say less public and open piracy sites are used these days, like the pirate bay or 1337x... Most no longer exist so its not hard to see why it would seem less popular.

People still believe this port forwarding bs?

You can seed fine without port forwarding... Thats what trackers are for!

Why is it not mounted on the host/cointainer? I dont think you are using jellyfin "wrong" but its not like you cant just configure a mount point if you wanted to use jellyfin with it.

That is an interesting thing to point out though, im not actually sure but i think they used to support smb shares directly, i might just be thinking of kodi though.

Just use normal wireguard, why do you need tails or heads at all?

I was in middle school during 9-11-2001, and around that time there was an anthrax mailing attack too.

I was late to class one time and my late pass had a bunch of chalk dust on it, the teacher i handed it to asked what the powder was on it... Being a smart ass i said something along the lines of "it might be anthrax, better be careful"...they took it as a threat i guess because the next day i was suspended.

We moved and i was in a new city and state the next year. One day at my new school i made pretty much the same exact "joke" and it resulted in another suspension.

If its not a verification request then go ahead and give them a fake number, or give them a number from a service that provides one-time usage like textverified. If its not to verify then any number should allow you to continue.

Its one of 3 companies in the USA that gather tons of information about everyone so they can come up with a magic number that landlords and banks can use to decide if a person is worth giving money to or not, and also to sell you a service that will notify you when they inevitably get hacked again and someone tries to "steal" your "identity"

There is a way to request it by mail, the phone thing is just a quicker way for them to verify you are who you say you are because they ALREADY know all the information, they just want to make sure YOU know the right phone number. If you use the wrong number they might give you an alternative option, or it will eventually tell you the only option is by US mail.

Pretty much anyone who has your phone number can use that information to look you up in a database, experian just spells it out because they get hacked so often its a liability for them to store any information at all, In a normal functioning society such a company would fail and never be taken seriously, but in capitalist america they get to decide if you're worth lending money to, WHAT A COUNTRY!!!
