That's how elections work: one wins, everyone else loses

I agree with conservatives that strict boarders are necessary for nation states.

They call it a necessity evil, I use it as an argument to abolish all states.

The atom model with the electrons going around the nucleus, is inspired by the solar system. The better model doesn't look anything alike. This is a naturalistic circular fallacy

I like the meme but let's get that straight (no pun intended): both tomboys and femboys break out of the gender binary. Their very existence puts heteronormativity into question. If a boy can look like a girl and be it just having long hair, that's the beginning of the end of an oppressive system that should end as soon as possible.

Since the last update, I don't see the total number of upvotes and downvotes but a ratio. So when it is at 0, I see 50% which is less interesting than seeing how many people interacted. Was it me upvoting and a single downvote or is it highly controversial with 100-100? Also: in a highly downvoted comment, I want to see how many people actually upvoted it.

Can I change this back in the settings somewhere?

I love how she uses "little bird" as example for how great her nicknames are

There was a program call "Nero burning ROM". A pun I understood much later

There are languages with a 4th person pronoun. The 3rd person is kind of the main character and the 4th someone else. That helps to disambiguate sentences like "The criminal shot the cop and drove away on his (own or the cop's) bike".

Or the "gay fanfiction problem": "He looked at him and lay his hands on his lap". Is it a happy ending or a sad one? That's one theory why gender in pronouns is so resilient: more often than not, the gendered pronoun can disambiguate which person is talked about. It doesn't always work, a 3rd/4rd person distinction is superior.

The meme template works when left and right is the same thing. There are templates for this kind of message, too. Sorry for being that guy.
