Russia declined responsibility for civilian deaths that happened due to the strikes on the Ukrainian city of Sumy on Sunday that killed 34 people and wounded dozens more.

It accused the Ukrainian army of using civilians as “human shields" in Sumy and said that it struck an Ukrainian Army meeting.

Imagine yourself standing at the edge of a desolate, post-apocalyptic world, where the very fabric of reality seems to have been torn apart. The air is crisp and cold, with a hint of wood smoke and ash. The sky above is a deep, foreboding grey, with snowflakes gently falling onto the frozen mountain landscape.

In the distance, a lone building stands tall, its sleek, futuristic design a stark contrast to the barren, icy surroundings. The snow falls gently around it, casting an otherworldly glow over the entire scene.

As you watch, the dark ambient music washes over you, drawing you deeper into this dystopian world. The soundscape is haunting and evocative, with a sense of longing and despair that perfectly captures the mood of this frozen, post-apocalyptic landscape.

In the public imagination, homelessness looks like the man in soiled clothes sleeping on top of a subway grate or the woman peering out of a tent from under a highway overpass. But in cities and towns that have the highest concentrations of homelessness, many — and sometimes a majority — of those who do not live in shelters are in cars, not on the streets, according to the annual census known as the “point in time count.”

In Los Angeles County, for example, two-thirds are living in vehicles. In San Mateo County, which includes part of Silicon Valley, its even more — 71 percent.

The letter seems to be fitting into a pattern of pro-Israel organizations, such as Canary Mission and Betar, targeting critics of Israel’s military actions, as well as supporters of Palestinian self-determination. Betar says it has provided lists of noncitizen protesters to Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the Department of Homeland Security, and other government agencies, recommending deportation.

YouTube sensation Rachel Griffin Accurso (42), famous for her Songs for Littles series, is under the radar of antisemitism watchdog group StopAntisemitism.

The group has accused her of spreading anti-Israel content and pro-Hamas propaganda through her posts about the Gaza conflict.

Among the disputed content shared by Accurso were viral images of a child, purportedly showing starvation in Gaza.

StopAntisemitism claimed these images were debunked and that the child, Fadi al-Zant, wasn't starving but suffering from cystic fibrosis.

However, the child's mother has clarified to The Washington Post that her son was indeed suffering from both cystic fibrosis and starvation.

The pro-Palestine Youth Demand movement says it has been targeted with over 150 arrests since it began

Katherine Hearst Published date: 5 April 2025 09:12 BST

"On 27 March, some 20 police officers burst in on a group of young women at a Quaker’s meeting house in central London and arrested them on suspicion of conspiracy to cause a public nuisance.

The women were activists who had gathered for an open meeting of Youth Demand, a pro-Palestine and climate justice movement demanding an end to UK government arms sales to Israel and new fossil fuel licensing. The group emerged in the aftermath of Israel’s war on Gaza, which began in October 2023."

Something about calling health insurance companies "Payers" and giant oligopolies of hospitals "Health Systems" really gives me the ick.

Especially living in a state where several doctors that were seeing Medicaid patients are suddenly all "no longer practicing," and the department of health is arguing Mediciad is unsustainable bc "no doctors want to see Medicaid patients."

Not that they're no longer taking Medicaid, they all just sort of disappeared from hospitals at once, just to be very clear.

Some responses to the question has your Primary Care doctor suddenly disappeared:

Louisiana

New Orleans

Just one example of how shady this all is

A more detailed explanation, yes I know I sound Dale Gribble esque but this shit is really happening in Louisiana
