I actually have a colleague who randomly saw the launch from their airplane. They had no idea and had to look it up after landing. I like all the different ways it can pull people in.
This is so edgy
I don't see the hue in the screenshot
Try adding a HDMI dummy plug. Older Intel NUC's (8th gen and earlier) have an issue that's fixed (but always seems to come back...) where they don't like functioning headlessly (without a display connected.)
Edit: Also, make sure your BIOS is uptodate.
I very much dislike how lemmy overwrites the URL after you include an image....

This will be overturned. This judge is known for making politically motivated decisions. There is a reason this was filed specifically in Harney County where this yahoo presides.
Guaranteed this is not the last time this will be in the news.
That product will never exist as there are only a handful of customers who would want it and even less who would pay for it.
Also, lookup the MTBF reports. It's more likely that all your Client systems will fail before a switch does.
Whoever took this photo should be stripped of their ability to operate (or fail to operate) a camera/phone.
Hard disagree. Nothing comes close to MATLAB + Simulink. Nothing is even trying to cover the same usages.
Disagree that it's more enjoyable than going to the theaters. There is a social aspect of going to movies with friend groups that's hard to replicate at home. People don't have space to fit 12 friends to comfortably watch a new release.
I'm mildly aligned with your main point OP. Rpi's have a place and are amazing at many things, but over sold on lots of 'server' usages. For the typical homelabber, it's a hobby so not a big deal that this hardware they likely already have (Rpi) isn't the best.
However, this point about energy usage means you have either a large energy bill and can't see the margin increase OR those 11 systems are mostly idle and you simply don't need all of them running.
I don't think there is an easier way to show the world how meaningless the russian government is.
