He turns the pages in time with the words! Sure, you could have it as audio over a PowerPoint, but that's less human, and ultimately, feels more low effort, even if it isn't.

I made no vale judgement on the information you provided, just informing you of the optics.

You're thinking of Sampsonic, my biblical hedgehog OC.

Uh, how else would you effectively convey this?

You lose all credibility outside of your weird little circles when you use the word "FUD".

Our smallest unit of weight is the ounce, which is 28g, and as much as Americans hate metric, we hate fractions more.

It had been a while since I last laid everything out like this. A few rarities in there, but mostly common pressings. My two dream purchases are a copy of Black Pear Tree, since I had one before and had to sell it, and a 12" of Full Force Galesburg (my favorite album), but I know my storage conditions aren't good enough to be spending $400 on rare vinyl.

EDIT: All that and I still forgot about my Undercard LP

OLED Dark Mode? (lemmy.world)
submitted 11 months ago* (last edited 11 months ago) by TheTetrapod@lemmy.world to c/boostforlemmy@lemmy.world

I was just wondering if there was any intention of bringing an OLED friendly dark mode (like, just a pitch black background) to Boost for Lemmy? I'm pretty sure there was one on the Reddit version, and I've always preferred the aesthetic, although admittedly my battery goes further than it used to.

EDIT: After seeing spiffpitt's comment, I did a couple seconds more investigation than the other 10 times I've checked in the last 2 years. The AMOLED dark mode is available under "Customize Colors", which is greyed out if "Dynamic Colors" is checked.

This happens on Lemmy as well.

Yeah, I feel like anyone giving OOP the benefit of the doubt is overlooking that part.

If something is marketed as "unlimited", I don't think there is such a thing as "wildly excessive use". This isn't a competitive eater going to an all-you-can-eat buffet and being mad about getting kicked out. It's a business using a service in a way that's seemingly in-line with what they paid for.
