Yes Fairphone is great. My parent is still using my old v3 and is still gets updates as well has having spare parts for fixes.

I would recommend the fairphone 4 or 5. I have the 4 and it is great: reparable with software updates (os etc) , easily replaced battery and sustainably sourced.

Yes, I've been using fairphone for a number of year and when I upgraded to 4 I gave my 3 to my mom. Still works great and gets updates as well as spare parts.
