Ryzen changes their sockets less often too. I went from a 2600 to a 3700x to a 5800x with the same motherboard. Unless Intel really steps up their game I don't see any reason to switch back.

I got the same response when I was helping a neighbor who needed electric repairs and had to shut off all of his power for a week. A cop saw an extension cord running between our very close homes and at least he warned us to disconnect immediately and if they saw it again they'd shut off our power.

I used to be pretty big into Reddit. I haven't been back in almost a year except a couple of google search results. I do notice a difference though. There is less diversity in expressed thoughts here. I don't miss the doomscrolling though, I can run out of new content here and I like that.

Yeah after 25 years of zero dentist visits I have my first toothache this week. I'll never financially recover from this.

That's when you sit in her lap and say oh I didn't see you, I was just chilly and put on my coat - I'll be here for a few more hours

Neither the RNC or the DNC have any obligation to run their primaries truly democratically and they know it and flex it all the time. RIP Bernie.

Almost a third of paternity tests come back as not the father. To be clear, that is among people who have reason to take a paternity tests, not all fathers.

I can't imagine wearing that shirt but seriously their security theater deserves to be continuous berated and the whole thing needs to be eliminated. I want 1980s airports back and a government that has to have a specific court order to spy on any given citizen.
