In one famous case in 2021, the conservative party pressed charges against a data researcher, after she responsibly disclosed a massive data leak via their party app. After the court determined, that afromentioned data was insufficiently secured, those charges were dropped.

At least for me, both my laptop (daily driver) and desktop would be considered old by this comic (2014 and 2017 respectively). Neither of them are struggling with the tasks I mostly use them for (writing notes, programming, light gaming on my desktop).
