No. February 12, 2015 actually was an extremely polluted day for Paris. The fine particles count was through the roof and you can find articles about it. Please don't pull stuff out of your ass.

So that we can discuss the issue without triggering abuse survivors would be a reason.

Hopefully they said "adieu" (very respectfully fuck off forever), not "au revoir" (see you again friend).

I like how she argues casually that a good video game is a good thing for your focus as opposed to the toxic gunk too many people get trapped into, such as big social media and evil mobile gaming. I mean it’s nothing new, but sometimes hearing some positivity is a boon.

Sometimes I game on keyboard + mouse, sometimes on controller, depending on the game. I love my keyboard, but being able to slouch with controller in hand is welcome as well. Unfortunately I've played so many games over the years with a controller that I struggle immensely to tap the right buttons when shit gets real. It's like my muscle memory is muddied with countless mappings. As a matter of fact there's no way I can switch between two games back and forth if they are even remotely similar in terms of perspective.

Have you experienced high levels of "typos" with game controllers too? Do you know of strategies to get more precise?

I think yall (the mod team) still misunderstand what you did wrong. You're just repeating yourself. The problem is not that you failed to announce the migration, it is that you thought it was your choice to make, and that it even was an actionable decision. The fediverse, with each instance having it's own communities, userbase and set of alliances & blockades, does not afford for unilateral deportation of a community.

Furthermore as moderators of a community you'll always have to deal with instance admins. The fact you can't cope with Ada's safe space policy is a bad look. Quoting one debatable decision as "proof" is not helping. Your perception that you are somehow immune to ever disagreeing lemmy.world's admins is strange.

Found it, it’s NBC. But really google "luigi among us": the news are seriously trying to drum up the DANGERS OF VIDEO GAME VIOLENCE again based on Luigi Mangione playing Among Us.

Cute but false. These little fluffs are just scratching their armpits. Squirrels actually land like spread out pancakes. Here a biologist ruining your fun.

Salamander (Life Force in the USA) is an arcade scrolling shmup developed by Konami in 1986 as a spin-off of Gradius.

I never actually played. I just enjoy that artwork 🔥

Young artist with inspired angsty compositions. They have an EP out and I'm hoping they eventually get around to dropping a full album.

This one has a special place for me. The lushness and the other-worldliness is so appeasing.

Also chaotic neutral: prioritizes issues by curiosity.

To be fair when it came out seven years ago it really shook up the portable gaming scene. Every portable console coming out since is an iteration on that design. The joycons can go to hell though. And those weird ass online plans.

It’s March 14th! An excellent day to eat pie and do maths. I might brush up on my geometry and try the NASA Pi Day Challenge.

She has 110 millions insta followers. 100,000 represent a 0.1% loss. I wish only 0.1% of the population were homophobic.

OK hear me out: Minecraft in survival. For real. Nothing jump scares like a creeper going "psshht" in your back, telegraphing that you’re about to die in a destructive explosion. As you walk a narrow path over a chasm of lava in the Nether, the wail of the Ghast might make you fall out of sheer panic before it even shoots at you. The Warden is a special kind of scary too, as it’s nearly unkillable and will detect you by the noise you make. It sounds kind of silly but there’s plenty of players making the remark that Minecraft survival is basically horror.

And it’s all in a child friendly, non gory, voxel style.
