I have mixed feelings here. I legitimately paid ($1, once, a decade ago) for a calculator app and feel it was a great value (I still prefer it to this day). But then again the free version was fine too and the one-time payment was essentially a donation to the developer for a great app that unlocked... Themes...

Much more appealing to me is running Android apps on Linux officially. I don't want to use Android as my main system, but I sure as heck would love to have one or two Android apps available on my Linux Machines.

My city had ranked choice voting implemented by Democrats in the 1970s. They elected the first black mayor, who is still one of our most beloved mayors in the city's history, under RCV.

Then Republicans made it illegal at a state level when they had a trifecta. Democrats keep introducing bills at the state level to allow RCV, and Republicans take more and more drastic action against it. So yeah... I want more Democrats in my state government so we can have RCV.

I am a certified Linux user with over 20 years of experience.

Please run the following command in a terminal:

sudo dnf install apt

And then try the instructions above. Let me know if this fixes your issue

I (allegedly) have friends, but we're all adults so there's no way I can actually schedule time to play with them.

I believe the common terms now are "domme" and "sub"

Pretty amazing that years of effort from massive competitors like Epic and Microsoft haven't managed to crack this. I wonder what they're doing wrong?

(Ok I lied. I know exactly what they're doing wrong and there's zero chance of them changing.)

Bash

Not because it's the best or even my favourite. Just because I create so many ephemeral VMs and containers that code switching isn't worth it for me.

Question in the title. I don't want to see posts from lemmynsfw, but I don't want to just blanket disable NSFW stuff either since the tag gets used for other things. Is there a way to do this or do I have to individually block each community that shows up in my feed?

This is why I don't use vim. Can't spend all that mental energy on keybindings when I could spend it far more productively on KDE configuration options.

If you want to double that emotional damage for Greece, you could call them the Turkish Republic of South Macedonia

Honestly, I'd rather have an ugly app with everything right there than the terrible UX trend that's happening of everything being hidden behind 8-10 different menus just to make the home screen "clean"
