This is factually incorrect. Binance purchased CoinMarketCap in April of 2020. CoinGecko is an independent cryptocurrency data aggregator.
Not Lora or Helium, but you might be interested in the Althea network. They're a payment layer powering infrastructure & connectivity that provides blockchain-enabled internet access to thousands of homes across challenging topographies.
Monero can be regulated and, for tax purposes, handled similar to cash transactions.

As shortwavesurfer noted monerod also utilizes seed nodes. The user is able to specify their own seeds with the --seed-node flag. It's also possible to add other nodes with --add-priority-node or --add-peer
