This is exactly what I hate about cars. Some idiot starts driving an oversized tank and other idiots then get intimidated during traffic and feel the need to join the arms race.

It's a vicious cycle and pedestrians are the ones who are screwed in the end. Meanwhile, people who actually drive a small car because it fits their needs (only 1-2 people ever drive in it) get laughed at.

That light in the background is by the mall and interstate, so I always wait for the walk signal AND double check traffic first. I still get cussed out about twice a month for the crime of not being in a car.

The "tractor" owner is probably trying to compensate for something ...

Absolutely, it's clean AF. This is 100% driven to somebody's office/retail job.

I have a red twingo in my neighborhood and even compared to normal sized cars it's a pipsqueak. So every time I pull up to park, I think there's an open spot only to be greeted with its bright red bumper. I know I shouldn't be mad, but I still call him "the red cunt" every time.

Humans are funny creatures. You could also get annoyed by the giant vehicle blocking your view of the small one, but giant vehicles are "normal" and therefore unremarkable.

With "normal" I meant sedans or station wagons. Anything that has a roof lower than your head while standing upright really.

Americans need to get back on board with light trucks again. I had a '96 Tacoma as my daily driver and it was an extremely capable vehicle with a small profile.

How much does a car like that consume in real life urban traffic conditions?

I didn't note what the truck in Pic was but an f250 gets 14.5 in city from a quick web search (don't quote me lol
