Ireland wants an expansion of the definition of genocide to bring home the enormity of what Israel is doing in Gaza, the Taoiseach has told the Dáil.

The Israeli Government, with its “far-right elements”, is "committing genocide in Gaza right now," Micheál Martin said.

What is happening in Gaza is already genocide by the current definition, hence the ICJ ruling; it's just that the people in power don't care.

Maybe they could try other states for recognition again. Britain seems closer. Even Germany has been critical.

Under the convention, countries are supposed to act when there is risk of genocide.

UK and Germany are second only to the US on profiteering and genocide enablement.

At least US normie turning on Israel now... Germans are still following orders 🤡

What the English did to Irish in 1880s was also a genocide or at very minimum an ethnic cleansing campaign from which Irish population still has not recovered.

But Westoid brain has hard time accepting these bad facts 🤡
