Just checked on rsload.net and the lastest they have is 2020.1.3 . Though it says Shareware which is confusing, isn't it a paid app?. Then checking in the underground section on ru-board there is a whole discussion about later cracked versions of this app... you can take a look at that yourself.

That or a sandbox is an option. But it is a bit inconvenient, and I would like to know if the installer gave me malware. I needed to run it from an elevated command prompt to bypass a red UAC warning.
If the data you're handling isn't sensitive in any way (or you can eg. anonymise / pseudonymise it) and you don't have anything else sensitive on the VM, it wouldn't really matter either way – and as @MrPoopyButthole@lemmy.dbzer0.com said, if you're running an executable from some yarrr site you're probably going to get malware
If you run executables from pirate sites, 9 times out of 10 you will get malware.
