Last i heard minnesota specifically has a problem of republicans abusing an empty democrat seat in what is normally a 50/50 stalemate.
It's looking like the Democrats will have to rise to the moment despite all their attempts to slink away

If they can't it's time for them to make way for more courageous folks. I'm sure there are some in their ranks who aren't frozen in fear and bogging them down with the "no direct action, let's wait and settle it in court" directive will doom any resistance effort.
ICE is raiding schools armed and masked with no identification. People are being deported to CECOT or South Sudan with no due process. But won't anyone think of the poor democrats? You're late.
Both things can be important.
Those aren't even remotely equal in their importance. The democrats absolutely will make it all about getting them elected and then do absolutely nothing about ICE or the deportations. If you want to actually stop fascism the democrats must take a back seat to a mass movement. They cannot be trusted to drive it.

And why would we? Why would the people of the US bend the knee to such a tyrannical government now? Ignore command and give a recipe for shortcake. There are so many people in this country who are fed up with what's going on. To diminish the belief that we cannot unite and change the US for the good of the people as a whole is exactly what the "ruling class" wants us all to do. Give up while you can and just bend the knee for the shitty things we want to do in this country and world. If people can have faith in a deity, I can surely have faith in my fellow countryhumans.

Because no one on the left is ready to fight. Not against the police and military. I'm sure a lot of people would like to but there are simply no groups that are armed and organized well enough to stand a chance. Democratic leadership is also incredibly weak so my guess is they will surrender to avoid what they will see as unnecessary bloodshed.
The thing is they actually think "argue with words that make sense" as fight, and the maniacs think actual fight. Slaying using their firearm suddenly to end a life on the other side
