I used to be friends with a bi guy who'd cross dress from time to time. He stopped after he got beat up for it.
Why didn't he have friends with him?
I don't go anywhere without Smith and Wesson.
I have a friend who's in her 70s, transitioned after retiring. Her wife left her after she came out. Her friends and family, well. Not anymore. Her wife even took her dogs, who died without seeing her again. Like just absolute 'fuck you' kind of treatment. And yes in the past year or two, she's had some really unpleasant times where she expressed interest in detransitioning, or living as genderfucked or something.
When you ask her tho, is that what she wants? She says no, she wants to be able to go out in public and not feel like a monster who everyone hates.
Protip do not retire in a red state if you're vulnerable in any way.
For the life of me, I cannot understand if transphobes are just not aware of how stupid their arguments are, or if they know perfectly well and the stupidity of the argument is some kind of show of power.
They haven't evolved the ability to breathe through their noses and walk upright yet. I doubt it's a power play. They just don't have the mental processing power to grasp the concept of a trans person.
